Dr. Donald Loden will be attending a series of lectures on anesthesia in St. Louis on October 26th. One of the major concerns of caretakers for their pets is the risk of anesthesia during surgical or dental procedures. While our risk for anesthetic complications is very low, anesthesia is always a major concern. A wide variety of topics will be covered including common complications with anesthesia, current fluid therapy recommendations, anesthetic protocols for high risk patients and post anesthetic care. We are always looking for new protocols and techniques to increase the safety of our anesthetic procedures.
Generally Dr. Loden is available to provide emergency consultation for patients of Cornerstone after hours. On the weekend of October 25th-26th all emergencies will be referred to the Four State Area Emergency Clinic.
