Providing Emergency Care for patients of our clients and friends since 1985

Due to the shortages of veterinarians and veterinary nurses nationwide we are unable to see after-hours emergencies except for current active clients. Current clients are patients who we actively treated in the last 18 months. We will continue to see emergencies during office hours as much as possible.

Questions and Answers

What does an emergency visit cost?

Our current fee for after-hour emergencies is $140.00.

How much is the total cost for an emergency visit?

No one is able to tell you the total cost of an emergency call, there are simply too many variables. I can give you some average costs but remember average cost communicates there some patients are above the average and some are below. The average cost of most patients treated as an outpatient is $300 to $400. The average cost for patients required to be hospitalized is $1000- $1500.00. As always at the time of the emergency examination, a treatment plan of the expected cost may be provided.

Yes. Emergency services require one plus individuals returning to the office after hours to care for your pet. Just as the cost of you going to the emergency room is more expensive than a visit to primary Doctor emergency care has increased cost factors.
