The Christmas season is a busy time of the year for many of us! There are so many things grasping our attention and sometimes we miss the real meaning of the season. I personally have to force myself to slow down to remember the real reason I celebrate the season.
As much as family activities, time with the grandkids, and good food mean to me, the real joy for me is the story of Jesus coming from heaven to earth to live among us, offering us eternal life as our Savior. I mean no disrespect to anyone else’s beliefs but everything in my life revolves around this single fact. Even the name of my hospital Cornerstone represents the fact that Jesus, the Christ, is the cornerstone of my life. May each of you have a great Christmas holiday and take a moment to think about the meaning of our lives.
